Chapter Five

... so now we know how the two Little Princesses learned how the Land of Snow got it's name. They were happy about that and did not mind at all that the snow had fallen down from the sky, and grown up from the ground, so that it had covered their favorite Royal Window, making it white.

.... Just then, however, The Princesa, who was older and asked a lot of questions, began to form a question in her mind, which popped right out her mouth in a big, whailing sound. "But The King", she exclaimed to The Queen Mother, "is out doing The Royal job, 'To Work'! "

"How will he ever get home to the Royal Castle in all of this snow!?"

The Little Princessa grabbed her Baby Princess Sister by her hand and pulled her along as she ran to the Castle Stairs, and carefully took each step to the next floor of The Castle. They went up to the second floor and looked at the window, it was white with snow.

She took her sister up to the third floor of her Castle and looked at the window, It was also white. They snow had really grown high this time! The two little Princesses went up to the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh floors of the Castle, and all the windows were white with snow. Finally The Queen arrived, huffing and puffing from all the stairs. She picked up her worried little Princesses, and carried them to the Castle Rooftop, to stand on the balcony and look for The King to be coming home from "To Work".

The Castle rooftop balcony was very cold because it was outside on the highest point of the Castle Roof. From there the Princesa and Beya could see the whole Land of Snow. But The Princesa was very worried abut how the King would get home. The snow had covered the whole Land of Snow and there were no trains to be seen, no people walking, and no cars to be seen along the road. Oh, dear, she worried, I miss The King! Will he be able to come home?

"What's that?" shouted Baby Beya, only it sounded like "Aus dat?", (as Beya was the smaller of the two Princesses and had her own manor of speaking), ..............the Princesa stopped worrying and listened with both ears, as The Queen was also listening with both ears.

They heard a rumpling sound, was it thunder?

It was a buzzing sound, was it a saw?

It had a banging and a clanging sound, what was it?

Just then, the Lizzard arrived at the top of the stairs and ran out to the balcony to be with his Royal People. Now The Lizzard would have arrived sooner but he is so small, being a Lizzard who only looked like a dog but not being nearly as big as a dog, it took him all this time to climb the seven stairs.....

past the seven floors with the seven windows, white with snow, ........

and find his Royal People, ........

who were out on the rooftop balcony listening to a strange sound in the distance.

At that moment, The Royal Lizzard also heard a sound, and immediately began to yip happy yips! Then, they saw the noise! ..........

It was the Happy Snow Plow Driver , who cleared the snow off the Royal Roads in the Kingdom of Snow! As he drove his great big snow plough up the road,

clanging and banging, buzzing and rumbling,

the snow flew up in the air and landed on the sides of the road, leaving the road clear whereever he passed. He drove up the hill and around the curve clearing the snow from the roads so the cars could drive again! He drove past the Royal Castle and waived up to the Two Little Princesas, as they waived back down to him. And who do you think was coming up the Royal Road, just behind the Royal Snow Plow? ......................?

The Royal King was coming. He honked his horn and waived a happy greating as he drove The Royal Vehicle up the freshly snow-plowed road, and onto the Royal Driveway. He also waived up to the Two Little Princesses, and blew a Big Royal Kiss up to The Royal Queen. Then, like always, he yelled up to The Lizzard to stoop yipping, (and like always, The Lizzard kept on yipping).

The Royal King, who was a giant as big as most houses, reached way up to the Royal Rooftop Balcony and picked up his two, happy, Princesas! He tickled The Princesa and threw The Beya up in the air for a full mile, catching her in his arms when she came down, then he took is Royal Girls, and his Royal Queen, down the stairs and put them down softly, and gently, each with a hug and kiss.

Later, that evening the fire was burning in the fireplace and The Queen was talking on the Royal Cell Phone. The King's tummy was full of dinner so he layed back on his Big Royal Chair. He looked very tired and grouchy. The Royal Princesses knew it was time to be quiet. They and began to read books and work puzzles but spoke to each other in soft, soft, whispers.

Soon, The Lizzard arrived from the rooftop balcony, and went to his Royal Bed behind The Royal Kitchen door, and The Royal Queen took The Little Princesa, and her Little Princess Sister, to bed where she covered them with her long, warm hair, (which so long that it went down her back and followed behinder her on the floor), and snuggled them to sleep. Just as The Little Princesa was starting to dream, she began to think about her Royal Grampa; the one named "Grampa Fartsalot".

Chapter Four

.......I was remembering, just now, about one day when the two Little Royal Sisters, The Royal Princsa and the Royal Beya, were at home with their mother, The Royal Queen. The were still living in their own Kindom, "The Land of Snow" on the planet known as "Winter", (which some called Wisconsin). As they played together, one of their favorite things to do was to stop occasionally and stand looking out their favorite window together.

It was on this day that the snow did something very strange. As the two Royal Females were looking out the window, (Princesa was tall so she could see a little better), the snow was falling out of the sky in huge, white, sparkling, snowflakes. The snow looked like balls of cotton, and like diamonds, and also like fairy dust. It fell so fast that it fell first in sheets, then in blankets! It would shoot down in long streaks, then it would fly sideways, singing "hoooo, whoooooo"......(which in the Language of Snow meant "Oh Boy, I'm having fun!" The snow would dance and whirl around in circles, which made Little Beya laugh and whirl around in circles, too.

But this snow was even more interesting than snow always is! This snow took root as it fell up on the ground, and grew higher as more snow fell. First the Kindom of Snow was covered with a shimmering, white, sheet of snow. Then, the snow grew higher as it fell from the sky, so that it was like a high, fluffy, pillow, which covered the whole land! Then, it appeared the snow had stopped dancing around and gone to sleep. The little Royal Girls began to bore so the Queen sat them down on the Royal Sofa and they fell asleep while watching a movie about a Little Bear. While they were asleep, the snow began to dance again, and grow higher and higher each minute.

The two Royal Females woke up from their naps very angry at the Royal Pet Lizzard, (who looked like a dog, only much smaller). The LIzzard was yipping and yipping and jumping up and down like a rubber ball, ...boing, boing, boing.
Beya began screaming, "Lizzard, stop that!", (in her own manor of speaking, of course). The Princesa ran looking for The Queen to complain, but she suddenly stopped.....Why did she stop? The Princesa stopped in her tracks because when she ran by the girls favorite Royal Window, she could see nothing but white!

While they were sleeping the snow had fallen down from the sky, and grown up from the ground, until it had covered the Royal Window!. The girls called The Queen who came running to see what was happening. When she saw that the girls were alarmed because their window was covered with white snow, she began to laugh. When the Queen laughed, the sound she made laughing was like music.

The two Royal Girls just absolutely loved nothing more than to hear The Queen laugh! When The Queen began to laugh, it made the corners of thier lips turn up in a big smile, they couldn't help it! The, a rumble of laughter would swell up in their bellies and burst out of their chests.....The Beya would laugh like a little woodchuck, with a deep, "chuckle, chuckle". The Princesa would laugh as if she were being tickled, "teeeeeeheeeeeetehe"! And the Pet Lizard, (who looked like a dog), just kept squealing. "yip, yip, yip".

Finally the music stopped and the Queen began to speak. She said, "Don't be silly little Princesses. Why to you think we named our land, "The Land of Snow"?'
The girls got quiet and thought about the answer. The Land of Snow was named the "Land of Snow", because?.................................................Then the lights over head began to flash on and off as The Princesa got an idea! She exclaimed, "The Land of Snow is called that because it snows and snows and snows!!!"

"Very good!", said the Queen, but she was carefull not to laugh again, as she didn't want the Royal Pet Lizzard to start yipping, yipping, yipping.

Chapter Three

And so, as were were saying,......One day, in the Land of Snow, on the planet called Winter, (also known by the name of Wisconsin), there was a Beautiful Princess whose name was Princesa. Princesa lived with her Little Sister, whose name was Beya. The Princesa and Beya, ruled the Land of Snow along with The King of Snow whose name was Shalief, and The Queen of Snow, named Aleyda. They all lived together in a big, warm, cozy, castle which had it's roof covered with white, fluffy, cold, snow. The Castle of the Land of Snow had a large lawn covered with the greenest of grass and many colored flowers, which you couldn't see because they lived under the snow. Only The Princess and The Beya knew they were there.

On this particular day, they were celebrating Family Day. The King did not have to work in other lands, so the whole day the family could be together. This made The Princesa and The Beya very, very, happy. The King had a surprise for them. He was going to take them on a picnic! The girls were happy with this idea and began to jump up and down but The Queen said, "We cannot go to a picnic on the planet of Winter, (known also as Wisconsin), because it is too cold!" The king smiled even more, and began to pat the top of his very high head. He had already thought of that! He was going to take the family to have a picnic on the moon! Everyone loved that idea!

The girls began to dance and sing, The Queen began to make the sound of the flute, and The King, growling and humming big, happy, sounds, picked them all up in his arms and threw them in the air over and over again. They packed a nice lunch into the picnic basket and placed it in the Royal Vehicle. The Princesa put on her Big-Girl safety seat, helped The Beya get into her special seat, and The King and Queen fastened their own safety belts. They launched up to the sky toward the moon!

Over the snow covered castle roof, over the snow clouds in the sky, past the meteorites and satellites, off they rocketed to the moon, where they landed shortly. The Beya had fallen asleep while they traveled and awoke in a grouchy mood for just a minute. Then, something very strange caught her attention. It was the picnic basket!

The picnic basket began to move around under their feet! It was moving about on it's own. It turned over on it's side, rolled over and panted, then sat back upright! Next it made a little sound, "ah" , "ah", "ah", ............ what a mystery! What could be inside the picnic basket?

"Ahhhh.... ahhhhh.... ahhhh-CHOO!!" said the basket. The Princess exclaimed that she had heard nor seen a picnic basket sneeze before! Do picnic baskets sneeze? Heavens no!

The King, who was a giant so big he had to fold himself double to sit in the Royal Vehicle, curled his lip and began to make rumbling sounds in his chest. He was not sure he was going to like this picnic! The Queen, who knew for sure that picnic baskets cannot sneeze nor roll over, reached down with her little hand and snatched open the basket! There she found the sneezor, right inside the basket. While The King , The Queen, The Princesa, and The Beya, were jumping into the Royal Vehicle for their trip, The Royal Pet had made a plan of his own.

The Royal Pet was a lizard, whose name was Dog. He was called "Dog" because he had a face like a dog and he made yipping sounds, like barking. He was smaller than a dog, as a lizard should be, but looked like a dog, only much cuter.

When the Royal Lizard, Dog, had seen his people packing for a picnic, he did not want to be left at home. He, very quietly, waited until no one was looking, and ran out the back door to the Royal Vehicle as fast as his little lizard legs would run. He jumped in and looked around, searching for a place to hide in the big Royal Vehicle. With his little heart pounding, he jumped into the picnic basket and remained quietly there the whole trip.

Then, just as they landed on the moon, The Lizard had to sneeze. He tried so hard not to sneeze! He knew he would be in trouble if they found him in the picnic basket. He rubbed his nose on the bottom of the basket, and on the side of the basket, which caused it to tumble about on the floor. When at last he could hold it no more, out came a hugh, wet, sloppy, loud, Lizard sneeze. Off went the top of the picnic basket and there was The Queen, frowning down on him! Oh boy! He was very sorry now, for being sneaky.

As he huddled in terror, The King, (who was a giant, as tall as the roof of a house), looked down into the basket. His big, hairy, face came closer and closer, the eyes burning with fury like hot coal. The Kings lips pulled back when he saw that The Lizard was hidden inside the basket. The giant lips pulled back, showing large, white, teeth. The Lizard closed his eyes, huddled down in the basket, and prepared to be eaten...... What?! Did The Lizard hear someone laughing? Yes, it was the King! The King was not going to eat The Lizard after all! He just had a good laugh to find him hidden in the picnic basket!

Chapter Two

So, as we were remembering, the King was growling his biggest, loudest, angriest, growl. His nose was red and sore because The Princesa had landed on it when she bounced off the ceiling. His tummy was sore because Beya had somersaulted on it when she fell down laughing at The Princess. The King growled, and roared , until The Queen finally gave her biggest, meanest, angriest, roar, which sounded like music. When the King roared , it sounded like lightening and thunder; lions and tigers; airplanes and trains. When The Queen roared, it sounded first like distant drums, then, the sound of chimes, blowing in the breeze. With chimes could be heard the sound of a single flute singing lullaby, lullaby, ........ and finally, the ringing of bells. The bells that sounded when The Queen roared were of all sizes. The "clang-clang" of church bells were heard with the "jingle-jingle" of Christmas bells. Then the dingaling, dingaling of the cell phone could be heard, together with the tinkle of tiny cherry bells, hanging on a string and the "bong! bong!" of the Bong when hit with a stick. These sounds added to tamborines and triangles, with soft violins singing the the background.

The sound of The Queen's roar was so pleasant that the Royal Pet Lizard, whose name was Dog, jumped off the back of the sofa, down to the floor, to his very special sleeping place, and smiled himself off to sleep. The land of Snow no longer shook and shuttered, the Castle of Snow was once again calm and lazy. Best of all, The King stopped roaring and began to smile!

"Good", said The Queen, now we are going to the kitchen to make a little breakfast and watch cartoons. With a nod of her little head, she jumped down off the stack of magazines and took each of the Royal Children by the hand. They were quiet as little mice as they went off to the kitchen to eat cereal with snow cream berries and watch cartoons.

The King smiled and stretched and made his humming, contented roar, as he stretched his arms way up high, then patted the top of his head with a smile, and followed along behind them. The King was thinking that, since today was Family Day, it might be fun to have a picnic........ He was smiling.

Chapter One

One bright and beautiful morning, the sun was shining orange in the lavendar sky, when a little girl named P________________ began to awaken. She stretched out her arms and legs, and rolled over on one side to see if her little sister named_______________was awake. Sister was also awake and her big, black eyes, (which were more lovely than black eyed-peas), were looking back at the Princesa. They were awake! Joyfully, they ran to the window and stood on tippi-toes to look out at the lovely, white carpet of snow which covered their world.

The Princesa's little sister was more beautiful than any little sister of any Princes in the world. The Princesa loved her so much that she took her with her every where she would go. Princesa loved to she her little sister sing and dance. Little sister's name was _________, but sometimes The Princess called her Beautiful, and other times she called her, "My Little Sister".

The King was a giant, as tall as two houses. His name was _______________ but The Princess called him _________________. He had bushy hair all over his face and almost none on his head. His tummy was made for hugs and snugles and his arms were so big and strong that he could make everything bad go away. All he had to do was pick up the Princesa, (or her little sister), and hold her high up in his arms, where they were always safe. He had a crooked nose and perfectly shaped ears with hooks on the top of them to hold onto.

Now, the King was a giant who loved to talk. But he didn't talk with words, like the Princesa. The King had only two ways of talking, 1. snoring and 2. roaring! When he slept, he was always s_________! When he was awake he was always r________! He had contented roars that sounded like "pur-rrrr-rrs", and worried roars that sounded like "mmm-uuu-rrrrrs" and very happy roars that sounded like "rable-rabe-ha-ha-harrr". Sometimes, when he was angry or had a tummy ache, he would roar his big, scary, angry roar, "rarrrooorrrh!" Then, Princes would always get very quiet until King roared contented again. Some days, the two little girls would set playing quietly, at their parents feet. They loved to hear The King and Queen roaring contentedly to each other, making "pur-rrrprrs" and "rable-rabe-ha-ha-harr" together.

The Queen's name was _________________. She was the most beautiful woman in all of the Princesas' world. She was very, very, small with tiny hands and feet, but her hair was very big!. In fact, her hair was so long that it touched the floor in back and trailed along behind her as she walked. When she slept at night she would let down her hair which would cover all the pillows, cover the whole bed, and cover her little girls, keeping them warm and safe. The Queen had eyes the color of Golden-Black, Chinese Chestnuts in Sunlight, and hair the color of chocolate.

This morning was very special to The Princesa and Little Sister Beya. Today was the day The King did not have to go away to work outside the Royal World.

"Family Day! Yea!" the Princesa exclaimed, as the two girls began jumping up and down on the bed! They forgot to be quiet as The King and The Queen were sleeping. They didn't think about good manors, because it was their favorite day of the week, Family Day, and they were hoping to wake up the King and Queen to go play.

The two girls kept jumping. They jumped higher and higher, until the Princes began jumping all the way up to the ceiling and then falling back on the bed on her bottom. Bounce, bounce, bounce! "Family Day"! Up she would jump, to the ceiling, and down she would fall on her bottom on the great big, soft bed of the King and Queen!

The Princesa jumped up and down and bounced back and forth! Little Sister Beya jumped up and down and sometimes fell right off on the floor! That was okay because it didn't hurt and she had learned how to get back on the big bed by holding onto to The Queen's hair and pulling herself up. Beya bounced and laughed and laughed! She tried to reach the ceiling like The Princesa, but she was too little. She also tried to to say "Famly Day", like the Princesa was saying, but it sounded more like "amybay". (This was because she was just learning to talk.)

They were laughing, jumping, happier and happier, higher and higher, singing "Family Day!" and "Amybay"!, until in one, great, jump, The Princesa bounced right off the ceiling, and landed on The King's snoring nose, which woke him up. By then, Beya was laughing so much at Princesa that she tripped over The Queen's little foot, did a somersault, and landed right on The King's tummy, which made him roar.

The girls got very quiet and still. Beya covered her head with a blanket, although you could still see the rest of her. The Queen sat up in bed, looking sleepy and confused. The King let out another great big, very, scary, roar. It sounded like, "RAAAAAARARRROOOOORRRRRRmorrre!", and startled everyone. The King's roar shook the whole bed, the whole room and everything in it, then the whole castle, then the whole world! The shelves in the living room shook so much that the books and toys fell off on the floor. The microwave door slammed shut and began making toast! The Royal Pet Lizard, (whose name was Dog), started barking, "yip, yip, yip, grrr yip!" . He jumped on the sofa, then the back of the sofa, getting higher and higher and barking and barking, yipping and yipping! The big, dark, Royal Vehicle, named Car, began to shake in the Royal Garage, setting off it's alarms, turning on it's radio, and honking it's horn!

ROARRRRARROORRRR! Roared the King, loudly at first, then much, much, louder. RROOOOAARRRRRROOORRRR!!!!! Finally, the Queen woke up sufficiently to put an end to the shaking and noise. She, being very tiny, stood up on the floor on a stack of books, so she was just high enough to see the King, who was still roaring, "ROARRRARROORRR", on his giant pillow. The Queen pulled her long, beautiful hair off the floor, and wraped it in circles on top of her head, until it stacked up to the ceiling. Then, she made her hands into tiny fists and took a deep breath. She sucked in her breath so big and so deep that it filled her feet up with air. Then, her legs filled up and her tummy filled up and her chest filled up with air. She filled up with air so much that The Princesa thought she might go up in the air like a baloon, which caused the Princesa to get even more still and quiet!

Then The Queen let out all that air in to her biggest, loudest roar! ........ which was still a little one, and which sounded like music somehow.
